National University of Art Bucharest - Master Class Prof. Dr. Mihai Manescu
apprentice of master Enea Nicolae, then mentored by master Radu Aftenie, he created over 400 marble sculptures in Romania, participating in over 50 personal and group exhibitions.
at the moment he lives and works in Tochni Cyprus, sculpting in hard rock - gneiss and schist - metamorphic rocks
Graduate of the Naval Academy "Mircea cel Batran" in Constanta.

gneiss is a very widespread rock type, especially in the lower parts of the continental crust, but it is also a common rock on the surface in some places and other shield areas where crystalline rocks are not covered by a layer of sedimentary rocks.
